Wellons offers variety of combustors. The selection depends upon the fuel properties and steam capacity requirements.
Wellons Cell Furnace
The Wellons Cell Furnace is a close-coupled gasifier providing excellent combustion control with staged combustion air introduction.
Reciprocating Step Grate
The Wellons reciprocating step grate is an air-cooled grate utilizing our proprietary designed grates offering high temperature performance and corrosion resistance.
Fixed Grates
Wellons offers a range of fixed grate combustors to meet your dry fuel energy systems requirements. Systems are available in sizes from 2 MW (7 MMBTU/hr) to 18 MW (60 MMBTU/hr).
Suspension Burners
The Wellons suspension burner is ideally suited for the combustion of dry, fine biomass or agricultural residue fuels.
Spreader Stoker
The Spreader Stoker (comes with a Vibrating Grate or Travelling Grate) is the combustor of choice for large capacity steam generation or power generation projects.

Wellons is accredited by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for the manufacture and assembly of power boilers, heating boilers, and pressure vessels with the ASME Marks: S, H, and U.
Wellons Canada is also accredited by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors for repairs and alterations of boilers, pressure vessels, and pressure retaining items for both shop and field locations in British Columbia under the “R” Certificate of Authorization.
